China launches second day of military drills around Taiwan
China conducted a second day of live-fire military drills around Taiwan on Tuesday, staging rocket launches and naval-air exercises it said were aimed at simulating a blockade of the self-ruled island. Taipei condemned the manoeuvres as "military intimidation" by Beijing.
