Gungor Tarim unveils Utilis: Turkey’s first telescopic seeding machine

WISE NEWS PRESS / ANKARA, TÜRKİYE — DEC. 28, 2025

Gungor Agricultural Machinery, a cornerstone of Turkish industrial mechanization since 1947, has launched "Utilis," a towed telescopic seeding machine that marks a significant milestone in agricultural engineering.

Designed to balance high-performance planting with logistical ease, the Utilis model addresses the modern farmer's need for a machine that excels in both direct seeding (no-till) and prepared seedbed conditions.

The "Master of Stubble": High-Pressure No-Till Performance

The Utilis is engineered to handle the toughest field conditions, providing a massive pressure of up to 400 kg per unit. This feature ensures high seeding success in direct stubble planting, maintaining the soil's natural structure while ensuring precise seed placement. Despite its heavy-duty performance, the towed design allows the machine to be operated by tractors in the low power class (as low as 60hp), significantly reducing fuel consumption for smaller farming operations.

Versatility through 6-in-1 Configuration

One of the most innovative aspects of the Utilis is its modularity. Utilizing a common chassis, a single machine can be converted into six different configurations, including 4-row fixed, 6-row fixed, and 6-row telescopic frames with or without fertilizer units. For logistics, the telescopic model allows the outer units to fold inward, reducing the transport width to just 3.3 meters. This ensures that moving the equipment between fields or on public roads is both safe and hassle-free.

Maneuverability and Digital Integration

Equipped with a suction fan positioned on the drawbar crank, the Utilis offers exceptional maneuverability, capable of making 90-degree turns without disrupting the operation. This makes it ideal for use in narrow fields and small plots where space is limited.

The machine also features a 1500-liter fertilizer tank protected by a durable tarpaulin cover to prevent moisture during unexpected rain. For farmers seeking precision agriculture, Gungor Tarim offers optional add-ons including a liquid distribution system, field spraying modules, micro-granule systems, and advanced electronic seed control monitors.
