Turkish Manufacturer Erdil Makina Boosts Global Nut Machinery Exports
Operating from Denizli, Erdil Makina targets high value-added exports with its energy-efficient nut processing machinery and R&D-focused production.
WISE NEWS PRESS / DENIZLI, TURKEY — DEC. 2, 2025
Erdil Makina, a prominent manufacturer in the Turkish food processing sector, has announced a strategic expansion of its operations, focusing on high-value exports and energy-efficient technologies for the global nut industry.
Established in Denizli, a hub for sunflower seed and nut production, the company is pivoting toward advanced R&D to create domestic machinery capable of competing in international markets. This move aims to contribute to Turkey’s economic stability by generating a current account surplus through high-tech manufacturing.
Evolution from Workshop to Factory
The company’s origins trace back to 1995, a period when nut machinery manufacturing in Turkey was in its infancy and relied on primitive methods. Ergün Özen, Chairman of the Board, founded Erdil Makina in 2005 after a decade of apprenticeship, transforming a personal vision into a corporate entity.
According to company statements, the firm has evolved from individual efforts to a professional team structure over the last 15 years. Today, the manufacturer utilizes physics, mathematics, and digital technologies to produce fully automated systems, moving away from the "primitive ways" of the early 90s.
R&D and Energy Efficiency
Erdil Makina has integrated an R&D culture as a core principle, focusing on environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. The company’s product line includes single and multi-belt ovens, rotary ovens, dragee coating machines, and specialized processing units for yellow chickpeas.
"What makes our company strong is neither its turnover nor the number of personnel, but our valuable team who has a heart bond with physics, mathematics, and digital technologies," said Chairman Ergün Özen. He emphasized that financial success and employment growth are natural byproducts of this technical dedication.
Export Strategy and Economic Vision
The company views export-oriented structuring as essential for sustainable economic growth. Özen stated that the ultimate goal is not just to increase export figures but to achieve a "Current Account Surplus" for the national economy.
Company leadership argues that this can only be achieved through high value-added, domestic, and national products. By harmonizing high technical knowledge with modern technological systems, Erdil Makina aims to deliver projects that meet maximum production capacity demands while minimizing environmental impact.
