Oto Balata Sanayi, established in Ankara in 1962 by Muammer Genç and initially trading in brake pads and lubricants, has become a leading player in the automotive spare parts sector with over half a century of experience.
Entering the commercial vehicle segment in 1975 as an authorized BMC dealer and serving in this field for 25 years, the company shifted its focus to import and wholesale activities starting in 2001. Today, supplying spare parts for a wide range of brands, primarily Japanese and Korean vehicles, the company has been pursuing an export-oriented growth strategy since 2018.
Wide product range and export markets
Under the management of General Manager Semih Genç, Oto Balata Sanayi exports spare parts for passenger and commercial vehicle brands such as Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mercedes, and MAN.
Supplying parts for heavy-duty vehicles and construction machinery brands like Cummins, Caterpillar, and Volvo, the company has expanded its portfolio to include the construction and machinery sectors. The firm also exports diverse product groups ranging from industrial pizza ovens to cast iron manhole covers to international markets.
Post-pandemic product diversity
Demonstrating its ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions, the company began importing and exporting products such as masks, disinfectants, and nitrile gloves to meet healthcare sector needs during the Covid-19 pandemic.
With a commercial history spanning 58 years and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Oto Balata Sanayi aims to increase its effectiveness in the global market by developing new areas of activity beyond the automotive sector.
