Sacrifice and Vows for Genetic Diseases: A Spiritual Prescription in the Light of Surah Al-Kawthar

DREAMSINTERPRETERS.COM / ISTANBUL, TURKEY — Nov. 12, 2025

A spiritual prescription for genetic and incurable diseases through sacrifice (Qurban) and vows (Adak)! Detailed information on seeking healing in the light of Surah Al-Kawthar, the rights of servants (Kul Hakkı), charity (Sadaka), intention (Niyet), and the etiquette of proxy sacrifice (Vekâlet). Forgotten vows, broken covenants with Allah, and paths to salvation are here!

In Anatolia, there is a beautiful tradition:

  • A votive sacrifice and animal sacrifice are offered after buying a house.

  • A votive sacrifice and animal sacrifice are offered after buying a car.

When one faces a difficulty, a vow and a sacrifice are promised. This is where genetic diseases begin!

People make vows and promises of sacrifice for generations. They make a promise to Allah and forget about it. They promise a friend, family member, neighbor, etc., and forget the promise they made...

Allah (SWT) says in Surah Al-Baqarah 124: "And [remember] when Abraham was tried by his Lord with [certain] commands and he fulfilled them. [Allah] said, 'Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people.' [Abraham] said, 'And [make leaders] from my descendants.' [Allah] said, 'My covenant does not include the wrongdoers.'"

Please pay attention to this Noble Verse... Contemplate, reflect...

Remember the promises you made and failed to fulfill, and the promises your ancestors forgot to fulfill...

Do not lose hope when facing incurable diseases! You have knocked on doctors' doors, but you are struggling. At this point, there is a prescription for salvation for you...

That prescription is Surah Al-Kawthar...

"Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], Al-Kawthar. So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone]. Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off." (Quran, Al-Kawthar)

You must also learn how to apply the prescription revealed to humanity in the Holy Quran.

Spiritual Prescription for Incurable Diseases

  1. You can offer a sacrifice (Adak) for the pleasure of Allah. You can sacrifice a ram, a goat, or a rooster. You can sacrifice a ram first, then a goat, and then a rooster. Depending on your financial situation, you can also sacrifice a cow or a bull. You can increase the numbers according to your financial situation.

  2. Sacrifice requires precision! It must be done in sequence. You or your family must pay for the sacrifices and vows.

The intentions (Niyet) here are important:

  1. Intention must be for the pleasure of Allah. The pleasure of Allah must always be part of the intention in sacrifices and vows.

  2. Then, the sacrifice is offered "with the wish that the vows made by my lineage and me be fulfilled."

  3. The sacrifice is offered with the intention that "the reward be written in the Book of Deeds of those who have the rights of servants (Kul Hakkı) upon us."

WHAT IS KUL HAKKI (THE RIGHTS OF SERVANTS)?

Just as man has the rights of Allah upon him, he also has the rights of servants. Allah (SWT) has bestowed certain rights and blessings upon every human being. Any injustice done against these will not go unpunished and necessitates punishment. For example, harming someone's life or property, tarnishing their honor and dignity, making them sad or afraid even in jest, deceiving, giving or taking bribes, delaying debt repayment, and taking up their time unnecessarily are all violations of the rights of servants.

Allah (SWT) forbids people from violating the rights of servants: "And do not consume one another's property unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers so that you may [knowingly] consume a portion of the property of others unlawfully." (Al-Baqarah, 188; An-Nisa, 29)

Surah Al-Fajr (17): "No! But you do not honor the orphan, Nor do you encourage one another to feed the poor. And you devour the inheritance, devouring [it] altogether, and you love wealth with immense love."

Surah Al-Balad (14): "But he has not attempted the steep ascent. And what can make you know what is [the nature of] the steep ascent? [It is] the freeing of a slave or feeding on a day of severe hunger - an orphan of near relationship, or a needy person in distress."

The Master of the Two Worlds, our Prophet (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him), said in a Hadith (Prophetic tradition): "Whoever has wronged his brother concerning his honor, integrity, or property, let him set matters right with him before the Day of Resurrection, when there will be no Dinar and no Dirham. If he has any good deeds, they will be taken from him in proportion to the wrong he did, (and given to the rightful owner). And if he has no good deeds, some of the sins of his brother whom he wronged will be taken and loaded upon him." (Bukhari, Mazalim 10, Riqaq 48)

The Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) said: "I swear by Allah, in whose hand my soul is, that if a person is killed in the way of Allah, then brought back to life and killed again, then brought back to life and killed again, he will not enter Paradise until his debt is paid off." (An-Nasa'i, Buyu, 98/4681)

The most important thing to note here is that no one from your family or close relatives should eat from the meat of the vow and sacrifice. The meat should be distributed to people who are not related, as much as possible.

HOW TO GIVE PROXY (VEKALET) - VERY IMPORTANT...

If the vow or sacrifice is to be performed in a distant location, the proxy must be given correctly...

  1. First, make your intention: For the pleasure of Allah. For the fulfillment of the vows made by my lineage and me. With the intention that the reward be written in the Book of Deeds of those who have the rights of servants (Kul Hakkı) upon us.

  2. Say: "I, Falan Falan, son/daughter of Abdullah and Hawwa, appoint you as a guarantor with the intention I have made, to slaughter the animal there, to have it slaughtered, to distribute its meat, and to have it distributed."

  3. The other party must respond: "I accept and received."

  4. Repeat three times...

Warning: Anyone who accepts the proxy and fails to fulfill it will bear a heavy burden of sin. Do not accept this task if you cannot perform it. Do not endanger your lineage and family!

CHARITY (SADAKA) IS A GREAT ELIXIR!

There is also the most important pillar of Turkish and Islamic Culture: "Sadaka" (Charity).

Every kind of kindness done to the poor, the needy, orphans, destitute people, and the helpless is considered charity. Those who have wealth should give from their wealth; those who have knowledge should give from their knowledge... Even a kind word or a smile counts as charity.

If you are facing incurable diseases, give charity. For example, feed 100 poor people. Bring joy to children. Buy an ice cream cone for a child. If your financial situation allows, bring joy to hundreds of children. Help those affected by disaster, such as earthquake victims. Establish a soup kitchen.

Small charities ward off great calamities...

I CAN'T GET MARRIED - MY FATE IS BLOCKED - MY AFFAIRS ARE GOING WRONG!

If you are thinking, "I can't get married, my affairs are constantly going wrong, all paths are blocked," recite Surah Al-Kawthar and fulfill its requirements...

If you cannot seek forgiveness, offer a sacrifice and vow with the intention that the reward be written in the Book of Deeds of those who have the rights of servants (Kul Hakkı) upon you. Do good deeds on their behalf...

Do good and cast it into the sea! If the fish does not know, the Creator knows!

Trust in Allah and don't worry about the rest! Allah (SWT) is the helper of those in distress...
