White House Releases Trump’s MRI Results Amid Health Speculation
Ahead of his 80th birthday, the White House released Trump's MRI results, declaring his cardiovascular and abdominal health "excellent" after recent rumors.
WISE NEWS PRESS / WASHINGTON, USA — DEC. 3, 2025
The White House has officially released the long-awaited MRI results of President Donald Trump, declaring his cardiovascular and abdominal health "excellent" in a bid to quell rising speculation regarding his physical condition ahead of his 80th birthday.
The detailed medical report follows weeks of public scrutiny over visible bruising on the President's hands and reports of swollen ankles, providing a comprehensive look at his internal health to address concerns about his fitness for office.
Official Medical Assessment
Presidential Physician and Navy Captain Sean Barbabella shared the advanced imaging results in a statement read by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Monday. The report emphasized that the screening was conducted to detect potential issues early and to evaluate long-term functionality.
"Advanced imaging was performed to provide a detailed evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health, as is appropriate for his age group," the statement read. The medical team concluded that Trump maintains an "excellent" state of general health.
Cardiovascular and Abdominal Findings
The report provided specific details regarding the President's heart and internal organs, areas that had been the subject of rumors following an unannounced visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Oct. 10.
According to Leavitt, the cardiovascular findings were entirely normal. "There is no narrowing of the vessels blocking blood flow, and no abnormalities in the heart or major vessels," she stated. The report noted that heart chambers were of normal size and there were no signs of inflammation or clots.
Similarly, the abdominal imaging showed that all major organs were functioning normally, with no acute or chronic issues detected. Dr. Barbabella summarized the findings by stating, "An evaluation of this detail is standard for someone of Trump's age and confirms that he is in excellent general health."
Addressing Public Speculation
The release of the medical data comes after intense online speculation. Recent images of the President appeared to show bruises covered by makeup on his hands, and previous reports in July confirmed he suffers from chronic "venous insufficiency," a condition affecting leg veins, which officials deemed "common and harmless."
While the MRI focused on the body, questions regarding the President's cognitive health remain a talking point for critics. When asked by a reporter if the scan included his brain, Trump dismissed the query.
"I have no idea. It was just an MRI," Trump responded. "It wasn't about the brain, because I took a cognitive test and passed with an excellent result."
